Peace Walls – Football For Peace

Peace Walls

Football for Peace hosts symbolic ‘Peace Wall' activities. This Peace Wall signifies the transformative impact of football, both figuratively and literally, in breaking down societal barriers. Football is a sport that transcends cultural, religious, and linguistic differences, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds with a common love for the game. In this sense, football can be seen as a powerful metaphor for unity and solidarity. The main purpose of Peace Walls is to raise awareness of the most pressing issues around the world and how football can be a vehicle to tackle local and global challenges. We work together collectively with heads of state, prominent international figures, sporting athletes and youth to hold hands and break through these Peace Walls containing adverse words and themes.
