FOOTBALL FOR PEACE INDIA LAUNCH, FEBRUARY 2018

In February 2018, the Indian Chapter of Football for Peace was successfully launched in Mumbai by former Manchester United Captain Nemanja Vidic and Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. Supporting the event was Deputy UK Ambassador Mr Simon Crispin.

Football for Peace partnered up with the Premier League, UK Foreign Office and the Department of International Trade.

Following the Launch Football for Peace the aim is to work in partnership with stakeholders across India in an effort to implement the City for Peace programmes alongside our award winning Peace Matches and community football tournaments to promote positive social change and understanding within marginalised communities.

Football has been a great unifying force across the globe. The FFP has been using football diplomacy to bring people together by promoting peace since its inception
