Jeff Mostyn – Football For Peace

Jeff Mostyn

Advisor to Executive Board

There have been a few constants in AFC Bournemouths incredible rise to the Premier League. Aside from the sight of inspirational management duo Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall on the touchline, it is an almost unrecognisable club from just six years ago. But it fairy tale success wouldn’t have been possible without the boardroom backing of Chairman Jeff Mostyn following his purchase of the club in 2007. With a background in insurance and a passion for football, Mostyn has been an integral part in the behind the scenes improvements at the Vitality Stadium.

Mostyn now stands as an immensely well-respected figure in the English game due to his unparalleled knowledge of the football pyramid. In 2011 he was elected by the 72 Football League Clubs to represent them on the FA Council working on a number of the Football Association committees, including those for Disability, FA Membership and Compliance Monitoring, as well as the prestigious FA Challenge Cup. Jeff also has ambassadorial roles with the England under-16 and under-17 sides when representing the FA Youth Committee. In 2012 Jeff was elected to the Board of Directors of the Football League. During the 2015/16 season Jeff was elected as an FA England Team Ambassador, which is a role he has now carried with him over the past 3 seasons.
