A retired Chief Inspector at New Scotland Yard – Metropolitan Police. Ian has a variety of operational policing experience in London including public order roles with regards to football and Notting Hill Carnival. Based at New Scotland Yard he undertook and oversaw many roles including security, safety and policy development. Since retiring in 2007 Ian has undertaken voluntarily community role as chairman of Eastcote Residents Association (Hillingdon), Chair of Hillingdon Safer Neighbourhood Board and more recently as a Volunteer and Trustee for Football for Peace.
